Album: A Day Learning To Fly (My R/C Plane That Is) My first real day of training. Lou offers training to anyone who buys a plane from him. I thought that I should learn to fly a trainer before I try to fly the Ultra Stick. Here is a collection of pictures of a pretty large group of people, all working on becoming better pilots. I apologize in advance to everyone there that day that I am horrible with names. I sometimes even forget my own name. If you were there that day and would like me to put a caption by you and/or your plane, drop me a line at robert@productionguys.com Last change: 03/29/08

Album: Thunder Tiger Trainer This is a long story. I started this plane when we lived in Irving (we moved to Plano in 1999). I had just about finished it but with my schedule, I was lucky to get to see it once a week. Next we bought a house. Forget the plane, we gotta move!!! I packed it up with everything else and during the move, I damaged the wing. So when we got to the new house, it went way up on a shelf.
Fast forward to 2005. My little plane sat up on a shelf until one day my daughter saw it and asked me what it was. As soon as I touched it, I got a spark. I had to finish this plane. I had it finished in a couple of days, including fixing the wing.
What you are seeing in here is the result of a little girl asking "What's that Daddy?" Last change: 03/29/08

Album: Ultra Stick After getting the trainer finished, I new I wouldn't be satisfied. I read somewhere that you should start a new project as soon as you completed another (Obviously this was written by someone who sells airplanes). So I went to visit Lou at Plano R/C and he pointed me to his favorite plane in the world. The Ultra Stick. It is everything that I don't need right now but it went together very quickly. As I write this, all I need is a new radio, receiver and 7 servos. I have everything in place, including the engine. I hope to be flying this before the summer is over, as long as my schedule will let me. Last change: 03/29/08
